Vision of the Khmer General Education Program

– Strengthen students’ Khmer reading proficiency to reach 100%.
– Encourage students to achieve various awards in regional and international competitions.
– Increase the percentage rate of students passing the upper secondary school diploma in the coming years.
– Ensure students in the Khmer General Education Program acquire various soft skills, such as: speaking skills, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.

– Cultivate students’ courage to face life’s challenges, as well as to live harmoniously in society.
– Instill a sense of responsibility and ownership in students regarding their personal actions, such as: organizing their bedrooms, washing clothes, preparing study materials, and eating habits, etc.
– Foster good behavior in students, teaching them to respect their elders and value everyone.

Enrollment Application

Before enrolling, students will take a proficiency test to identify their strengths and weaknesses prior to being accepted into any specific grade or level. In particular, we consider the age group and ability in order to organize students’ learning according to standards, which yields positive results for their studies. Ezin International School assigns grade levels to students based on:
– Ability and age group
– Student entrance test
– Test results and age group

The Khmer Program offers a rich curriculum as follows:

  1. General subjects according to the standards of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, including: Khmer Language, Mathematics, Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Studies, History, Geography, Morals/Civics, Home Economics, Physical Education and Sports, as well as Foreign Languages.
  2. Students are taught by highly qualified teachers who hold pedagogy degrees, implementing student-centered methodologies and modern computer-based teaching methods, along with the practical application of methodologies such as project-based learning, problem-based learning, and more.

Competition Programs

Debate/Discussion: Builds team spirit (learning to live together in society), enhances in-depth analytical skills, debating skills, and confidence. Public speaking and in-depth analytical reasoning. Cultivates the courage and skill to speak in front of hundreds or thousands of people
Spelling Bee: Enhances ability in Khmer spelling/orthography and memory capacity.
Project-based contest: Students have the time to go out into communities or various places to conduct research and apply their creativity in competitions.
-Outstanding student selection exam by subject: To compete at the provincial and national levels, ultimately aiming for regional and global levels.
 –Speaking and problem-solving exam: Students have the opportunity to develop various problem-solving skills.
